Wet weather - Status of matches Round 4
Date of Event West Australian Suburban Turf Cricket Assoc.: Fri Nov 1, 2019 1:05PM

Dear all clubs, players and umpires,

Please be advised of the following:

All matches scheduled on turf pitches are called off for this Saturday 2nd November and these will be played as One-day matches starting at 12.30pm on Saturday November 9th.

For all remaining matches on synthetic pitches, please inspect the state of the pitches and grounds in relation to suitability to play tomorrow. Clubs and Captains should not call off tomorrow’s play until the suitability for play has been assessed. Ideally rain will ease and the grounds will be ok to play for 2 or 1-day fixture tomorrow.

All matches originally scheduled as a 2-day match will retain their win points status of 10 points, even if re-scheduled as a one-dayer next week.

With regards to player movement, any player that plays in a One-Day Grade match tomorrow (November 2nd) will not be eligible to play in Grades 1-8 next week (November 9) and any exceptions requested will be by way of a Higher-Grade Permit Application.

Thanks very much to clubs for providing updates regarding their ground conditions.
